Hot Rod Jazz. Tuff Saxes and Twangy Guitars by Larry Wilcox and His Orchestra. This is a fantastic album and one of the few pieces of vinyl I’ve gone so far as to archive onto CD.  Its a group of studio session players called in to make a flavor of the month genre record. There are no twangy guitars on this album.  They sound more like big body jazz guitars with flat wound strings. Most likely Tommy Tedesco.  And there are plenty of saxes, but not much jazz.
